Audit Fee Structure
According to Section 3 of the Private Operator Certificate Procedures Manual, auditors are trained and accredited by the Canadian Business Aviation Association however they remain as independent consultants. For the purpose of standardization, a common fee structure is in effect. The current fee structure has been in effect since 1 January 2005.
Effective 1 January 2009, the audit fees will increase by one hundred dollars ($100.00) per audit and fifty dollars ($50.00) for the daily rate.
Fee Structure 1 January 2005 to 31 December 2008
The minimum fee for a CBAA Private Operator Certificate basic audit is sixteen hundred dollars (CDN $1,600.00) plus applicable travel and accommodation costs. A pro-rata daily rate of eight hundred dollars (CDN $800.00) is applied when the audit extends beyond two days.
Revised Fee Structure as of 1 January 2009
The minimum fee for a CBAA Private Operator Certificate basic audit is seventeen hundred dollars (CDN $1,700.00) plus applicable travel and accommodation costs. A pro-rata daily rate of eight hundred fifty dollars (CDN $850.00) is applied when the audit extends beyond two days.
